Boscastle Cottage - The Old Dairy
Peacefully situated on a small working farm in a country lane, this cottage is half a mile from Thomas Hardy's Church at St Juliot, yet only a mile from the S W coast path.
The Old Dairy is one and a half miles from Boscastle, which can be easily be reached by road, or by taking the scenic route on foot through the Valency Valley.
A charming cottage with lots of original character, The Old Dairy was converted from the dairy adjoining the owner's farmhouse.
Dating from about 1860, it faces onto a large secluded front garden area with a patio and garden chairs. The cottage is approached by a pretty garden gate.
The cottage features full central heating, which is free of charge October-mid May,and makes The Old Dairy a very cosy holiday home.
The property's bedroom has a double bed.Wireless broadband is available throughout the cottage.
There is off road parking for 1 car.
The kitchen area has fitted oak units, a built in electric cooker with ceramic hob, microwave oven, refrigerator, iron, toaster and all necessary utensils.
The lounge and dining room has a 2 seater sofa, an LCD Digital TV with 'Freeview' channels, plus a dvd and cd player,and an Ipod dock.
A beamed ceiling and exposed stone walls are a feature of the large open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining room.
All rooms are on ground floor level and the bathroom has a shower over the bath, toilet and wash basin.
Pets are not allowed.
Smoking is not permitted in The Old Dairy.
