Peacefully situated on a small working farm in a country lane, this cottage is half a mile from Thomas Hardy's Church at St Juliot, yet only a mile from the South West Coastal Path.
Wideacres Cottage is one and a half miles from Boscastle, which can also be reached on foot through the scenic Valency Valley. Boscastle's attractions include the Witchcraft Museum and the picturesque 'Harbour Lights' building.
A semi-detached bungalow set in a lawned garden, which is a perfect sun-trap, Wideacres has far reaching sea and country views.
New! There is now Wireless Broadband Internet Access available throughout the cottage.
There is off road parking for 2 cars.
Wideacres offers holiday accommodation for up to 4 people and includes:
- Bedroom 1 - with double bed and sea views
- Bedroom 2 - with twin beds and vanity wash-basin
- Kitchen - well equipped and fitted with electric cooker, microwave oven, automatic washing machine, refrigerator, toaster, iron and all necessary utensils.
- Lounge / Dining Room - includes cottage-style sofa and armchairs, an LCD digital TV with 'Freeview' channels, video, dvd and cd player along with Cornish stone fireplace to burn logs/coal. There are sea views from the window.
The bathroom has an instant electric power shower over bath, toilet and wash basin.
A cot for a baby is available on request. There is a children's play area in the garden with swings and a slide.
There is central heating, which is free of charge in the off season (additional cost only if used during the summer).
Pets are not allowed.
Smoking is not permitted in Wideacres cottage.
